Another project for my Intro to Illustration class. We had to illustrate 13 roadsigns--12 given concepts and one of our own choosing. Clockwise, starting at the top, they were:
Indian Village Baseball Field Fortune Teller Red Light District Kite Flying Area Earthquake/Fault Line Ant Farm Checkers Area Target Range Botanical Gardens Nuclear Plant Paratrooper Landing And in the middle, my chosen subject matter, Velociraptors. (I know, they had feathers and all that, but would you really think "velociraptor" if you saw some feathery-ass lizard on there? I didn't think so.) We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
